About Me

My name is Tessa Clarizio, and I am Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College Dublin in Prof. Francesco Pilla's Spatial Dynamics Lab in the School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy, I recently received my Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering in Civil Engineering (Energy-Water-Environment-Sustainability) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My research focuses on the intersection of air quality, climate change and urban sustainability. I am passionate about environmental sustainability and advancing science-based solutions to pressing global challenges. ​​

I started this blog to enhance my science communication skills and make complex environmental topics accessible and engaging for a broad audience.
